Admissions
In Bexley, the local authority makes decisions about admitting children to community schools into Nursery and Reception. In-year admissions are made via the local authority and places are offered by the school according to the availability of spaces.

Reception: September 2027
- If your child was born between 01/09/22 and 31/08/23 they are eligible to start Reception in September 2027.
- Parents are invited to apply for places in our Reception for September 2027 and are advised to consult the Bexley Primary Admissions 2026/2027 for guidance using the above link.
- Belmont will admit 60 pupils into the two Reception classes each September.
- Applications for Reception places must be submitted to Bexley admissions.
We are holding three open events for prospective parents. Each session will include a presentation led by the Headteacher, a tour of the school, an opportunity to meet our pupils, and the chance to meet members of the Senior Leadership Team and ask any questions you may have. The open events dates are listed below:

Access to the sessions is via the Carpark entrance on Belmont Road.
The deadline for Reception applications is 15th January 2027.
National offer day is 16th April 2027.
School Admissions Allocation - Accepting offer of places: if you do not reply by 1st May 2027 the offer may be withdrawn
Nursery: September 2027
- If your child was born between 01/09/23 and 31/08/24 parents are invited to apply for the places in our nursery for September 2027.
- Applications must be made directly with Bexley Council school admissions
- Our provision provides 26 part time morning placements offering 15 hours per week from 8:30am to 11:30am.
Open Afternoon dates for prospective Nursery families will be released in the coming weeks.
The application window for Nursery places opens on 16th January 2027. The deadline for Nursery applications is 6th April 2027.
